Ubisoft has confirmed the development of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements for Xbox 360, with a release currently pencilled in for Q1, 2008.

The game is based on Dark Messiah of Might and Magic which was well received for PC towards the back end of 2006, and introduces players to the dark world of Ashan, a place scarred by a bloody history and threatened by the apocalyptic prophecy of the Dark Messiah.

The Xbox 360 version will feature a refined experience thanks to improvements made to the gameplay, design and other technical aspects. Three new levels will feature along with new multiplayer maps created exclusively for the Xbox 360. Multiplayer has also been reworked for an optimal Xbox LIVE experience for up to 10 players.

Expect Ubisoft to show the game off more fully at E3 later this month.
