Ubisoft’s share price slumped by 26 per cent in the hours following the announcement that it had delayed Watch Dogs and The Crew into its next financial year, the BBC reports.

Ubisoft confirmed that Watch Dogs had been pushed back from November 22 to spring 2014 on Tuesday, explaining that it “needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune every detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.”

The Crew was delayed for quality purposes too, and now won’t see a release until at least July next year. It had previously been due to launch in early 2014.
