The PlayStation 3 is currently expected to arrive in Europe this March – later if you believe one of several launch delay rumours – and Ubisoft, a keen supporter of each of the new consoles, will be there on day one with five titles. Good news on the face of it, but only one of the five won’t have been available for many months on other platforms.
Listed for release at launch are Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, Oblivion, Blazing Angels, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2; the latter is currently scheduled to arrive on Xbox 360 and PC on March 3.
Whilst only offering titles that are or will be available on other platforms, Ubisoft’s support for the PlayStation 3 will enable early PlayStation 3 adopters to experience some of the titles they may have missed out on should they have decided against buying an Xbox 360.
