More content for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is due in the weeks and months to come, Ubisoft has confirmed.

Speaking to MCV, EMEA sales and marketing chief Geoffroy Sardin said there will be “good surprises for players in the weeks and months to come”, presumably referring to DLC for the recently released Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.

He went on to confirm a big Assassin’s Creed game for 2011 and a commitment to the franchise for years to come.

“Assassin’s Creed is our biggest franchise now, and we will invest to keep it big for the next few years – and maybe the next ten years.”

It’s no surprise that additional DLC will be released for AC Brotherhood, though we don’t expect to see much in the way of single-player content. Instead Ubisoft is likely to focus on offering new multiplayer maps and game modes.
