Sega and Two Point Studios have announced that Two Point Campus has been delayed from May to August.

The game’s director Mark Webley, offered a statement on the delay. “Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms. We will use these additional three months to optimize Two Point Campus for all platforms.”

To make up for the wait, the studio has released a new behind-the-scenes video. We get some insight from Webley along with Studio Director Gary Carr and other members of the team on how Campus came to be. The concept came to them during the development of previous game, 2018’s Two Point Hospital.

Of course you can expect a similar sense of humour to that game, in both the lessons and surrounding features. The team have learned a lot themselves making Two Point Hospital. As an example, the studio claims we’ll get to know the students better than the patients in that game. Of course, this also means you’ll have more of their needs to take care of, both inside & outside the curriculum.

You can check out the video for yourself down below. Two Point Campus now arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch & PC on August 9. It’ll also be available from Day One via Xbox Game Pass.
