Bizarre Creations has today announced two new downloadable content packs for its superb arcade racing title PGR4. Released on February 14 – that’s next Thursday – will be Free Challenge Pack and Premium Challenge Pack.
Free Challenge Pack introduces the hydrogen-powered 2007 Peugeot Flux, winner of the 2007 Peugeot International Design Competition. The free DLC also includes the player requested Tourist Mode – drive freely around any city with friends – and Free Roam Cat and Mouse – much the same as the previous Cat and Mouse only now with whole cities as your playground. The pack also features 10 new Achievements, although three of these are only accessible to owners of the Premium Pack.
The Premium Challenge Pack, priced 400 MS Points, includes seven new cars and three new bikes. The new cars include the 2008 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Concept, 2007 Volkswagen Golf GTI W12-650, 2007 Peugeot Flux, 1987 BMW M3 E30 DTM, 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia, 2008 Honda S2000 CR, and 2008 Callaway C16 Speedster. The new bikes are the 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1, 1995 Aprilia RS 250, and 1998 Aprilia RSV 1000 Tuono R.
Also included is a new World Challenge Arcade Mode which features 20 arcade events in three themed chapters: Platinum Plus, DLC Challenge and Arcade Challenge.
10 New Achievements
1. Tourist Kudos King – Earn more kudos than anyone else in a Tourist event – 15 points
2. Open Cat Champion – Be a cat on the winning team in a Cat and Mouse Open Event – 15 points
3. Open Mouse Master – Be a mouse on the winning team in a Cat and Mouse Open Event – 15 points
4. Platinum Plus – Get all the platinum medals in the Platinum Plus Challenge – 60 points (earnable with Premium Challenge Pack)
5. Download King – Complete the DLC Challenge chapter – 60 points (earnable with Premium Challenge Pack)
6. Arcade Challenge- Complete Arcade Challenge chapter – 50 points (earnable with Premium Challenge Pack)
7. Cheater- Activate one of the cheats in the cheat menu – 5 points
8. Make the Grade – Attempt to qualify for a Tournament -10 points
9. 01 Yee Haw: Puzzle 4 -10 Points
10. Are You the One? Puzzle 5 -10 Points
