Twisted Metal for PlayStation 3 will be released in the UK on February 17, Sony has confirmed to MCV.
The game will make it to US stores a few days earlier on Valentines Day.
Sony and developer Eat Sleep Play had intended to get the game out in October 2011, but the release was delayed to give the game the “extra time needed to polish the demented baby until it shines.”
Those picking up a copy of the game at launch will also receive a voucher for a downloadable version of Twisted Metal Black (PS2).
After a quiet start to the year February looks to be pretty busy, with the likes of Final Fantasy XIII-2, UFC 3, Soul Calibur 5, The Darkness 2 and the PS Vita launch line-up all hitting stores.
