Sony has announced the development of Twisted Metal for PS3.
In what must be the biggest lie of all-time, David Jaffe of Eat Sleep Play appeared on stage at Sony’s E3 media briefing to reveal his studio is handling development – including the same key members that gave birth to the series.
A live team-deathmatch was demonstrated, revealing air and ground combat. A new object-based team mode, Nuke, was also revealed. Here the Sweet Tooth faction took on The Dolls, with the goal to capture the faction leader (Sweet Tooth or Doll Face).
The game will be released in 2011.
