Eat Sleep Play’s new Twisted Metal for PS3 has been in development for 18 months, David Jaffe has said. However, the build shown at E3 was still very early – pre, pre-Alpha in fact.
Posting on Twitter in response to a fan question concerning graphical glitches, Jaffe said: “If you mean when it popped out during E3, that was/is a bug. No destruction will do that. There is visual payoff for all objects.”
He added: “It’s just that- at E3- pre, pre Alpha, sometimes the destruction was not showing up in real time.”
Twisted Metal is scheduled for release in 2011 only for PS3.
