Ubisoft has announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled, a four-player brawler based on the classic arcade game, will be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade on July 22.
“Given that this is the 25th anniversary ‘shell-ebration’ of the creation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles property we’re delighted to partner with Ubisoft to release an updated version of the hugely popular Turtles in Time arcade game,” said Gary Richardson, CEO of Mirage Studios. “The Turtles have fans of all ages, and we’re excited to bring the game back to the long-time fans, as well as introduce Turtles in Time to a new generation of gamers.”
Turtles in Time was originally an arcade hit in 1991, and the new game will feature new graphics while staying true to what made that game so popular.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled will be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade worldwide on July 22. A PSN version for the PlayStation 3 will arrive later in the year.
