Secret Mode and Hugecalf Studios have announced they’ll be holding a cross-platform beta for upcoming car-golf game Turbo Golf Racing.

The beta itself will feature 12 playable courses from the full game, and include support for online multiplayer. Up to eight players will be able to play together across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Players will also get to try out some single player time trials, daily missions and even a dedicated 15-level Beta progression system.

Elsewhere, the beta features nine of the game’s power cores that they’ll get to use with their rocket-powered racers. There’ll also be 90 cosmetic items for them to dress up their car with how they’d like. While progression won’t carry over into the full game, those who take part will get to unlock up to three exclusive items for the full release as a thank you. Details on those items will arrive when the beta launches.

The Turbo Golf Racing beta kicks off from 12pm UK time on April 28 and runs until 10am on May 2. To get in on Xbox and the Windows store, you’ll have to download the Xbox Insider app and register via the Xbox Insider Programme. Steam users meanwhile will be able to access directly from the game’s Steam Page.

If you missed the original announcement, Turbo Golf Racing sees players try to navigate oversized golf courses in rocket powered cars. It’s set to launch later this year on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. It’s also arriving from launch onto Xbox Game Pass.
