A “revitalised version” of the classic management game Transport Tycoon will be released later this year for iOS and Android, Chris Sawyer’s 31X Ltd and Origin8 Technologies have announced.
Almost 20 years after its initial release in 1994, Transport Tycoon has been redesigned for touchscreen devices whilst retaining every element of what made the original such a well-loved game.
The mobile version has been designed and directed by Chris Sawyer, the original creator of Transport Tycoon, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2, with developers Origin8 recreating and restoring Sawyer’s original simulation code, promising the deepest, richest simulation on mobile.
