The playable Xbox 360 demo will be available over Xbox Live Marketplace from October 20 and will provide gamers will the chance to sample the latest instalment before it hits stores.
In the demo you can try out the new Nail the Trick system, which gives players more precise control over how the skater moves their feet to flip the board. Other new things to try include ‘Filmer’ goals, which require you to skate around with a cameraman and then pull off the tricks that he calls out, and Spot Challenges, which can be accessed all over the game world.
Tony Hawk’s Project 8 will be released across Europe and North America in November for Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PSP. A PS3 version will be released at the launch of the console this November in North America and around March 2007 in Europe.
