Activision has unveiled details on its only Tony Hawk video game scheduled for release this year, Tony Hawk’s Motion for Nintendo DS.
The game promises an innovative gameplay experience, with players able to control the action using accelerometer technology – twist, tilt and turn – and for the first time in the franchise’s history take to the snowy mountain tops on a snowboard.
20 diverse mini-challenges will be included, such as the all-new Rail Hopper and Slalom, plus familiar ones such as Hawk-Man and High Score. If grinding through Tokyo, Dubai, Vermont and the Alps isn’t enough, players will also have access to Hue Pixel Painter, an action-based puzzle game which sees Hue attempting to bring colour back into the drab world.
Tony Hawk’s Motion is in development at Creat Studios and is scheduled for release on Nintendo DS in November 2008.
