Included in Eidos’ financial results was word of new games in the Lara Croft Tomb Raider franchise, but don’t expect them any time soon. The publisher is planning to release “new versions of Tomb Raider (including a PS3 version)” in its fiscal year 2008 which begins in July 2007.
Eidos has been a strong supporter of the Xbox 360, having already released Tomb Raider Legend, Hitman: Blood Money and Just Cause. Tomb Raider 10th Anniversary for PlayStation 2, PSP and PC is the only announced Tomb Raider project in development, so perhaps Eidos has a next-gen only Tomb Raider game in development for Xbox 360 and PS3.
