While it’s safe to assume that the WCW booking committee had nothing to do with the new Titanfall 2 update, I can only imagine developer Respawn Entertainment were thinking about the glory days of Jim Crockett Promotions when naming one of its new maps: War Games.

‘War Games highlights the civilian shops, tall buildings for window-to-window fighting, and city streets for Titan combat from the Battle of Angel City, and the large, open tank garage facilities for hand-to-hand Pilot combat from the Battle of Airbase Sierra,’ a post from the game’s community manager reads on the the Titanfall forums.

Another new addition is the Live-Fire map, Traffic, as well as a new execution, and a third weapon slot for Pilots, which means players can now equip a primary, secondary, and Anti-Titan weapon. There’s a few other bits and bobs in here that will hopefully make your experience a bit smoother, all of which you can check out by reading the full patch notes.
