Titanfall 2 will launch winter 2016 alongside a new action figure range, toymaker McFarlane has revealed.

EA has thus far remained fairly closed when talking about Titanfall 2’s release, only committing to a launch before March 31, 2017, but McFarlane’s press release and product page for the upcoming toy range points to a winter 2016 launch for both the toys and game.

“In the 2014 smash-hit Titanfall, players wage war against their rival factions as both agile pilots, and armored 20-foot mechs known as Titans. The hotly anticipated Titanfall 2 will deliver the frantic action fans have come to love, plus dramatically charged cinematic moments through all-new memorable characters,” states McFarlane.

“The upcoming Titanfall figures will be a part of McFarlane’s bold new 2016 Collector Box Program. Each figure will stand seven inches tall, have an average of fifteen points of articulation for incredible poses and play action and feature screen accurate accessories and weapons. The figures will boast the same meticulous level of detail that McFarlane has become known for over the last two decades.”

The release adds: “The McFarlane Toys action figures will be released in conjunction with the highly anticipated launch of Titanfall 2!”

No date is given in the press release, but the product page on the McFarlane website is pretty clear with its “winter 2016” release timing.

EA gave GameSpot the following statement: “MacFarlane Toys will be releasing toys inspired by Titanfall in Winter of 2016. We have yet to provide a release date for the next Titanfall experience from Respawn.”
