THQ has announced that they will be publishing Titan Quest for the PC. Set in the ancient mythical worlds of Greece and Egypt, players will make an epic journey and overcome terrifying monsters. The game is in development at Iron Lore Entertainment, a studio led by Brian Sulllivan – of Age of Empires fame.
“The extremely talented team at Iron Lore is focused on delivering the same level of innovation and creativity gamers have come to expect from Brian Sullivan,” said Philip Holt, senior vice president of product development, THQ. “We look forward to sharing their vision for the ultimate in addictive, fast-action RPG gaming at E3 next week.”
“Our primary goal for Titan Quest is to create an experience that blends the best of action, role-playing and adventure genres,” said Brian Sullivan, co-founder, president and lead designer, Iron Lore Entertainment. “The lush ancient worlds of Greece and Egypt provide an extraordinary backdrop with beautiful locations, fascinating mythical creatures and age-old mysteries. We are extremely proud that Titan Quest will mark Iron Lore’s first release.”
Titan Quest is expected sometime in 2006 and will be revealed at E3 next week.
