EA has been one of the strongest supporters of the Xbox 360, churning out games like no tomorrow. The publisher has also been keen to give gamers the chance to try out their games, releasing plenty of free demos on Xbox Live Marketplace. The latest game to get a free demo is Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06, which, despite being heavily lacking in the course department, proved to play a very decent game of Golf.

The demo comes in at a smidgen under 900MB and features four holes (one from each of the game’s four courses: TPC at Sawgrass, Riviera Country Club, Carnoustie and Pebble Beach), and you get to play on your own or go up against Tiger himself.

Whilst not worth the full retail price, we found Tiger’s debut on the Xbox 360 to be an enjoyable experience and one you should check out, if only as a rental.
