Gears of War 3’s first DLC will arrive in November, but Epic might have inadvertently let slip its contents: three new multiplayer maps.
The leaderboards for Gears of War 3 (as spotted by Joystiq) are currently showing Azura, Rustlung, and Blood Drive.
YouTube footage of these maps, taken from a leaked developer build of the game, has sprung up on the internet. Their titles will be ring a bell to anyone that’s played through the Gears of War 3 campaign.
Of course, these might just be maps that never made the final cut, and have accidentally slipped through the cracks instead of being taken out back and curb stomped.
“Few games offer up as much as Gears of War 3, and even fewer manage to do it this successfully,” wrote VideoGamer.com in its 9/10 Gears of War 3 review.
I know at least two people in the office today who are very tired because they spent too much of yesterday playing this game. One of them got three MVP badges so it’s okay.
