Criterion has confirmed three new FreeBurn game modes will be included in the upcoming Cagney game update, scheduled for release on April 24.

The new modes are Online Stunt Run, Online Road Rage and Online Marked Man, and these are said to be “just the start”, with “many new FreeBurn game modes covering different themes and play styles” still to come.

Online Stunt Run: An 8-player simultaneous Stunt Run – everyone competes for the highest score within the 2 minute time limit and you can play anywhere in Paradise City.

Online Road Rage: An 8-player online team event in which one team of “runners” has to drive to a checkpoint then the finish while another team has to take them down.

Online Marked Man: A “Marked Man” is randomly selected and then has 90 seconds to survive as the Marked Man. All other players must try and take down the Marked Man. After 90 seconds a new Marked Man is selected at Random.

You’ll find full details of each new mode over on the Criterion website.
