THQ and Adidas have announced miCoach for Xbox 360 and PS3, brining together training programs developed for sports like basketball, football, American football, tennis and running.

Dwight Howard, Kaka, Tyson Gay, Jessica Ennis, Ana Ivanovic and Eric Berry have will each appear as personal trainers.

Users will choose their fitness goals and then take part in a range of fitness exercises with their body displayed in-game thanks to Kinect and PS Move. Users with an Adidas miCoach heart rate monitor will also get real-time feedback on their in-game performance. A mobile app will also synchronise with the game to factor in data gathered when away from the console.

miCoach will be released in early 2012.
