THQ head Danny Bilson has said it’s unlikely fans will see a sequel to the Warhammer title Space Marine due to the pending release of MMO Dark Millennium Online.

In an interview with Joystiq, Bilson stated Space Marine is performing well, however in terms of a sequel he is not sure “there’s room for Space Marine”.

“We’ve already announced the Imperium in the MMO as a class you can play. And if you combine that it’s very active, as opposed to the more turn-based stuff.”

Even so, he added that this will not be the last we see of the 40K setting: “there’s more stuff coming in the 40K universe, absolutely. We extended the deal for quite a while.”

Space Marine was released last September for Xbox, PC, and PS3. No release date is currently available for Dark Millennium Online, despite a rumour of it launching March 2013.
