The 7th Annual THQ Superstar Challenge is set to take place this evening, with 16 stars of WWE set to compete in an elimination tournament playing the recently released WWE Legends of WrestleMania game.
“The 7th Annual THQ Superstar Challenge in Houston is the perfect way for us to celebrate the hard work and dedication of WWE and its incredible talent throughout the year,” said Scott Guthrie, executive vice president, publishing, THQ. “We are excited to relive, rewrite and redefine history this evening through our latest release, WWE Legends of WrestleMania, and crown the 2009 Challenge champion.”
Participants in the 7th Annual THQ Superstar Challenge include:
WWE Legends Roster: Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter and Ted DiBiase, Sr.
WWE Superstars Roster: CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Evan Bourne, Ezekiel Jackson, Finlay, Hornswoggle, Kofi Kingston, Ted DiBiase and The Brian Kendrick
WWE Divas Roster: Beth Phoenix, Michelle McCool, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella
The Superstar Challenge will be hosted by Howard Finkel and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
