Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 is such a good CRPG because its systems play together just like a tabletop game would. It’s a perfect marriage of imagination and gameplay, and it makes for some hilarious combinations.
In fact, one combination of systems in Larian’s RPG just so happens to be so powerful that it turns your Tav into a one-person weapon. In fact, the exploit makes you so powerful that your cast of companions can’t even stand anywhere near you.
A Powerful Undead Baldur’s Gate 3 Exploit
If you want to become a one-man necrosis machine, there’s only one real exploit you can make use of. The exact exploit is a combination of the Loviatar’s Scourge mace found during Act One and the deceased body of Victoria from Cazador’s palace sometime during Act Three.
Via Gamepressure, the exploit requires you to pick up the mace by taking care of Abdirak at the Goblin Camp and then keep it until Act Three where you can slop Victoria’s body into your inventory.
The body of Victoria will cause a huge amount of Necrotic damage to any NPC in the nearby area, including your companions. Despite being a corpse, Victoria is incredibly useful as a weapon, allowing you to take out pretty much everyone in the surrounding AoE, including yourself.
Thankfully, the Loviatar’s Scourge mace has a powerful bonus: complete resistance to necrotic damage. This means that you can walk around with Victoria’s corpse eliminating anyone in your path while being completely unaffected by her necrotic stench.
Of course, as we mentioned earlier, your companions can’t be anywhere around you, unless you manage to clone or duplicate the mace with some form of glitch. With this in mind, it’s best to keep your friends at a camp while you use your corpse weapon, or keep the corpse in a safe chest at camp when you want to hang out with them.
