Marvel Rivals has fascinated players since its release with its dynamic range of Marvel heroes and villains, but it is the game’s ever-expanding cosmetic offers that keep fans returning to the in-game store. NetEase Games has made character customization a cornerstone of the experience, with a stunning assortment of outfits allowing players to dress up icons like Iron Man, Black Panther, and Scarlet Witch in designs ranging from comic classics to bold originals.

While players enjoy the variety, some have complained about the high prices, with premium bundles occasionally exceeding $20. Enter the Pick-Up Bundle, the latest iteration in Marvel Rivals’ monetization approach, which is now available for $2.99.

This new bundle promises a unique approach, combining quick rewards with progression-based unlocks. The eye-catching Hyper Orange Venom skin, a colorful reference to the symbiote’s Marvel vs. Capcom roots, is the bundle’s main draw, but the introduction of the Costume Coin is the true game changer. This new currency, which players acquire by playing matches after purchasing the bundle, allows them to select an additional skin from a curated selection of 32 outfits. But beware – one mistake, and you can lose your chance of claiming the free skins.

Marvel Rivals players must spend Costume Coin carefully in the Exchange Store

Marvel Rivals has launched a new Exchange Store where players can select from an assortment of skins that are currently in-store and redeem their Costume Coin to get that skin for free.

However, right at the bottom of the store, you’ll find a strange listing of 100 Units that players are saying isn’t a good exchange for the value. While the skins listed on the Exchange Store are usually priced at around 1,400 Units, exchanging the Costume Coin for 100 Units won’t be of value, as per players.

They wrote, “This is so f**king funny lmao. Who the h*** is gonna choose 100 units over a 1400 unit skin?” Another responded, “Your little brother who was playing on your account while you were away.” On the other hand, players are questioning why the listing even exists as they assume it’s for “someone who spent thousands of dollars on the game already.”

While this could be a listing for such individuals who already own those skins, make sure you check the item you’re redeeming your Costume Coin for, or else you’ll be left with just 100 Units for all the work you put in to get that coin from the Pick Up Bundle. Also, look out for the free Venom Twerk emote coming soon and how you can get it.
