In Marvel Rivals, NetEase Games has discovered a brilliant recipe for keeping players hooked: emotes that combine Marvel’s famous charm with humorous, surprising flair. These expressive animations have rapidly become a highlight element in the free-to-play hero shooter, allowing players to show off their personalities mid-match, whether mocking opponents or celebrating wins.
Emotes, ranging from Spider-Man’s Doctor Strange portal summoning to Thor’s hammer-twirling swagger, have struck a chord with fans, providing a fun breather from the game’s intense battles. But nothing has piqued the internet’s interest quite like the newest addition to this emote collection.
Whispers about a specific emote have driven fans into a frenzy, with leaked footage spreading like wildfire across social media platforms. The Venom twerk emote—yes, you read that right—has become the ultimate viral sensation, combining the anti-hero’s scary look with a humorous twist that no one predicted. The emote is called Symbiote Boogie in the game, and here’s how you can get it for free.
How to get Symbiote Boogie emote for free in Marvel Rivals

The Symbiote Boogie emote is the free Easter Egg reward Marvel Rivals players can claim after they’ve completed the Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event track and claimed all the rewards. The emote will become available to claim for free from April 1, 2025, 00:00:00 (UTC+0) until April 4, 2025, 00:00:00 (UTC+0).
Once it’s available, head to Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event screen and click on the silhouette to claim the free emote. Then head to Heroes-> Venom -> Emotes to equip your new emote. You can now jiggle on the battlefield and show your moves after eliminating enemies.
Can you use the Twerk emote with other Rivals heroes?

As of yet, it is currently unknown if the Symbiote Boogie emote is exclusive to only Venom or not, but leaked clips have emerged showing Groot and Hulk moving to the emote in the battlefield.
While it’s quite rare that NetEase would release a universally equippable emote for its hero arsenal, it’s highly likely that only tanks, specifically Groot, Venom, and Hulk, will be able to use it. More information will be revealed once the emote is out in the game.
