Yesterday’s announcement of Dark Souls Remastered had us giddy at the prospect of dying all over again (and probably lobbing our controller out the window too), but Bandai Namco Games has confirmed that it’s planning an extra treat for Japanese PS4 owners: Say hello to the Dark Souls Trilogy box.Â
The pack includes Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades, and hits stores in Japan on May 24. In addition, the set throws in a wealth of physical delights, such as the soundtrack for all games, an item encyclopedia for each title, 10 art sheets, a special frame, plus two bookends; one designed like a Knight and the other a bonfire.Â
Sounds great, right? Well, it is, but it’ll cost you an exorbitant sum of cash, with the Dark Souls Trilogy box selling for a whopping 49,800 yen, which equates to roughly $450. Hey, no one said being a collector would be cheap.Â
There’s currently no word if the bundle will hit the US and Europe or if it’ll see the light of day on PC and Xbox One.Â
