Marvel Rivals players are finding inventive methods to outwit opponents and claim victory. From utilizing map terrain to mastering hero synergy, the community is buzzing with innovative strategies that take gameplay beyond the fundamentals.
Whether it’s a well-timed ultimate combination or a stealthy flank, these strategies are assisting gamers in climbing the ranks and dominating lobbies. Recent upgrades, including the Season 1.5 mid-season patch, have brought new heroes such as Human Torch and The Thing, sparking greater experimentation.
The game’s broad pool of 37 characters divided into Vanguards, Duelists, and Strategists provides limitless possibilities, but it’s the intelligent use of settings and character kits that distinguishes the rookies from legends. As the meta evolves, players discover that little changes in strategy can lead to major wins, particularly in competitive mode where every edge counts. Want to step up your game? Look at these three underrated settings for heroes who can help you sharpen your edge and become a Marvel Rivals expert.
Change these Marvel Rivals settings for Loki, Jeff, and The Thing to become better
Marvel Rivals players often tend to focus on meta and gameplay tricks that make them better at winning matches. However, half the reason behind a successful Rivals game lies behind the character setting each player has in Combat settings.
Among tons of settings, these three heroes, namely Loki, The Thing, and Jeff The Land Shark each have a setting that is overlooked by players that’s preventing them from winning as that character. Starting with Loki, head to your Keyboard settings, and under Combat, choose Loki as the Hero. Then scroll all the way down to Hero settings and enable Double Confirmation for God of Mischief. This setting notifies you which hero you’re going to transform into while using your Ult and demands you to double confirm and prevents misclick.
Now here’s The Thing. He’s a brute tank that is often hard to use by some players who prefer more movement and less brute force. So head to his Hero settings and enable Hold to Dash. This allows you to smash the LShift button that will register a huge stomp on the ground that will stun your enemies instantly without having to dash past them.
Finally there’s Jeff. If you want to use his wall climbing abilities more efficiently, change the Direction of Wall Crawling setting to Advance Vertically Upwards so whenever you press the Crawl button with Jeff, he can advance up when you’re in front of a wall.
Upon using these settings, your game will instantly improve and you’ll dominate Marvel Rivals lobbies in no time. If you’re looking for more tips, check out how to get Lord icons much quicker in the game.
