Codemasters has announced that OnRush will be receiving a major update early next month, despite news of layoffs hitting developer Evolution Studios in wake of the game's commercial failure.
While the publisher is keeping it zipped in terms of details at the moment, it did let slip on Twitter that the update will include something that fans have been clamouring for. Ranked Mode, perhaps?
It was reported earlier this week via Eurogamer sources that a number of major players at OnRush's developer had been let go, including Paul Rustchynsky, the director of DriveClub. At the time it was claimed that the layoffs would not affect post-launch plans for the racer.
OnRush was released for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on June 5.
