I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator is set in a culinary school, and follows the player’s journey as an aspiring chef. It just so happens that your classmate is none other than the Colonel Sanders of Fried Chicken, Kentucky. The player must balance life and love with consequences of gastronomical proportions, as they handle the heat in the kitchen and on the dating scene.
If you impress with cooking battles, secret recipes, and 11 herbs and spices, Colonel Sanders might choose you to be his business partner, or maybe something more. The dating simulator boasts nine zesty characters including what could be a sentient oven and a Professor Dog, who assumedly teaches class at this reputable institution. There’s even a secret ending, though it’s not clear whether players can wine and dine the supporting cast as well as Colonel Sanders.
I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator is developed by Psyop, the team behind VR title Kismet and quirky visual novel Camp W. KFC is officially publishing the game, adding to their strange marketing strategies that also included an Instagram influencer Sanders and a ‘finger clickin’ good’ Twitch channel. The actual Colonel Sanders would have celebrated his 129th birthday was just yesterday; hopefully we’ll have our mitts on the game before he reaches the ripe old age of 130 (posthumously).
