Set six months after events in the original Phoenix Wright game, players will once again assume of the role of lawyer Phoenix Wright. Justice for All features four new cases to investigate, as Phoenix comes up against a new District Attorney, none other than the daughter of his old adversary Manfred von Karma.

As in the previous game, the action is split into two distinct sections. Players must investigate crime scenes and interrogate witnesses for clues, using the touch screen to collect evidence. The second part of the game sees players in the court-room having to argue the case and interject at key moments using the DS microphone.

New to the sequel is the Psyche-Lock. In order to extract the truth from problem witnesses, this lock must be broken by asking a series of correct questions or by catching the witness out on inconsistent statements. Opening the Psyche-Lock will become an essential part of winning the case.

Also new is the life bar, representing Phoenix’s status in court. Presenting dubious evidence or failing to break a Psyche-Lock will reduce your credibility and thus reduce the life bar. Let the life bar fall too low and the case is over.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All will be released across Europe on the Nintendo DS on March 16.
