There will be a Wolfenstein 3, says Bethesda

Pete Hines, vice president of PR and marketing for Bethesda, has revealed that the company is definitely going to make Wolfenstein 3 at some point.

Speaking with Metro, Hines was asked outright if there would be a third entry in the popular Nazi-killing shooter, to which he responded: 

'Yeah, sure. Absolutely we’re making a Wolfenstein III. They said on stage that they’re taking a break from the larger story to do this thing. But we all have to see how that ends. [laughs]' Hines didn't reveal anything else, although at least we know it's coming eventually.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One last year, and turned up on Nintendo Switch just a few months back. If you're looking for a bloody balls-to-the-walls shooter, then you can't really go wrong with Wolfenstein 2

Right now, Bethesda is busy working on Wolfenstein: The Young Blood, a standalone sequel to the previous game that features BJ's twin daughters and takes place in the 1980s.
