Rose City Games has announced that anime-inspired adventurer The World Next Door will launch for PC and Nintendo Switch on March 28.
While there's a standard $15.99 version of the game available, the studio is also offering a Premium release of The World Next Door that throws in its soundtrack for $19.99.
The World Next Door places a heavy emphasis on storytelling, following the antics of rebellious teenager Jun as she finds herself stuck in a parallel world populated by magical creatures and an 'eclectic' cast of characters. There's a reputation system to tuck into, puzzles to solve using special runes, and branching dialogue.
Lord Gris designed the game's hand-drawn art style, which as you can see in the trailer definitely channels a distinct anime vibe.
