Telltale Games & AdHoc Studios have given us a fresh look and details on The Wolf Among Us 2, as previously promised.
Set six months after the first season, it seems Bigby Wolf is now in some form of anger management. The grizzled detective’s been suspended from sheriff duties by Snow White, but he’s soon caught up in a new case. A trailer during last night’s show introduced us to three new characters. Namely, the The Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the mysterious new Mundy (human) character, Faye Leung.
We also found out that the sequel will be in the Unreal engine, and comprise of five episodes. Interestingly enough, the team has confirmed that the game will indeed release episodically. However, the team has promised they will make sure all episodes are finished before they release the first, to ensure they’ll be released “in a tighter cadence” than past games and without a huge gap between episodes.
While a specific date hasn’t been set yet, Telltale Games aim to release The Wolf Among Us 2 in 2023. You can check out a behind the scenes interview along with the trailer down below. The Wolf Among Us 2 will land on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
