The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be available to download for free on Xbox 360 until February 5, Microsoft has announced.

The game comes in addition to this month’s free Games With Gold line-up, and does not appear to require an Xbox Live Gold account to download. It was previously released as a free Games With Gold title last year. To download it for free, you’ll need to live in the UK, US, Canada, France or Germany.

The Witcher 2 was added to Xbox One’s backwards compatibility list earlier today, meaning Xbox One users can also give the game a try directly through their console. There’s no word yet on how it performs on the new console.

To grab it, keep an eye on the game’s listing on Xbox.com.
