The first 15 minutes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season have been released by developer Telltale Games, at right from the start players are given something serious to mull over: Goofball or S**tbird?

Here, we find Clementine and AJ on the hunt for supplies after a brief car journey, although it’s not long before the duo stumble across some shambling walkers to stab in the head. It all looks very Walking Dead-y as you’d expect, which is no bad thing, and the video ends with a pretty tense moment.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will debut on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on August 14, with a Switch version arriving later in the year.

Despite calling it The Final Season, Telltale hasn’t outright said that this will be the last Walking Dead game it will make; it simply means this is the end of Clementine’s adventure, so there’s always a chance for more down the line.

At this point though, are people fed up of The Walking Dead in general? Hell, even Andrew Lincoln’s had enough of the TV show and is bowing out in Season Nine.
