Activision’s The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is available to buy on the PlayStation Store on Friday, priced £49.99.

The £49.99 asking price is hard enough to swallow for good games, but for a title which is looking pretty dire parting with that kind of money is enough to have someone sectioned.

Uncharted 3 Game of the Year is a better buy at £24.99, but stay away from Tecmo Koei’s Quantum Theory despite its tempting sub-£20 price tag.

Those unphased by high digital pricing (£49.99) will also want to pre-order 2K’s BioShock: Infinite which launches on March 26.

Also worth a punt is PS2 Classic Warriors from Rockstar, which would make for an enjoyable weekend diversion at only £7.99.

DLC headliners include Bug Hunt for Aliens: Colonial Marines, Assassin’s Creed 3 The Betrayal, and new PlayStation All-Stars characters – Zeus and Isaac Clarke.

Stay clear of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct and pick up Telltale’s episodic series at a reduced price instead.
