The Textorcist, a curious-looking bullet hell outing from Morbidware, is coming to PC on February 14, the company has announced.

You play as Ray Bibbia, a priest that finds himself battling against demonics who have assault Rome in hopes of conquering the Catholic Church. He does this by reciting scriptures to send the Satanic hordes back to the depths of hell. Sounds easy, right? Well, not really. The only way he does this is by having you correctly type out the ritual, and quickly to boot.

Needless to say, you'll need to employ some dextrous finger work to quickly and accurately spell out these rituals, while also having to dodge incoming attacks from your enemies.

It kind of reminds me of Typing of the Dead, which was a spinoff off House of the Dead 2 on Dreamcast that required you to use your keyboard to defeat the zombie masses. So yeah, it actually sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
