Crows Crows Crows has announced the release date for off-kilter adventure The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe for next month.

The expanded re-imagining of 2013’s The Stanley Parable was first announced way back in 2018. However, a decision was made to not just remaster the game, but add a bunch of new content. Several delays later,  and by December 2021 it was announced the game would finally be coming in early 2022. Now, we have an exact date, and it’s quite the appropriate one.

See, the game puts you in the shoes of worker drone Stanley. He’s worker number 427 in a non-descript office block who one day finds his life narrated by a mysterious voice. To say much more would spoil proceedings, but employee 427 does work in room 427. Quite aptly then, the release date has been set for April 27, or 4/27 using the US date standard.

Naturally, the date announcement came by way of a trailer that gives you an idea of the madness and humour you can expect from the game. As mentioned earlier, to say too much more is to spoil the experience, but it’s safe to say: expect the unexpected. And many, many possible endings.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe arrives on April 27 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
