The Sims 4 will be released in the first three months of 2014, EA confirmed during an earnings call with investors.

Announced earlier this week The Sims 4 had been confirmed for release in 2014, but EA has now narrowed the window to the months of January, February or March.

The new entry in the multi-million selling management series is one of 11 “major titles” set for release on consoles and PC by March 31, 2014.

“In fiscal ’14, we will release 11 major titles across consoles and on the PC,” said Frank Gibeau, president of The EA Labels. “This includes our core sports titles: Madden, FIFA, FIFA Manager, NBA Live, NHL and NCAA Football, as well as Need for Speed, Battlefield, Command & Conquer, and from our partners at Insomniac, FUSE.

“And as we announced yesterday on EA’s blog, we will publish the Sims 4 on PC in early 2014.”
