EA has today announced that The Sims 2 Nightlife is under development by Sims’ creator Maxis. Nightlife will let gamers take their Sims out on the town and experience the nightlife that is on offer in the Sims universe. Head into the new downtown location and why not try a bit of dating.
Designed to allow the Sims to explore all their favourite night-time activities, players will be able to have a night out with the lads or work on getting a love-life. The biggest new addition to the game is the pleasure seeker aspiration which allows players to live exciting lives filled with after-dark activities that younger Sims probably shouldn’t be getting up to.
“Sims fans have always wanted to take their Sims out of their homes,” said Tim LeTourneau, Sr. Producer. “Now with The Sims 2 Nightlife, players will be able to take their Sims out of the suburbs and into the night while dating, hanging out on the town and staying up till dawn at all the hottest spots around town.”
The Sims 2 Nightlife is scheduled to ship on PC this autumn and will require The Sims 2 in order to play.
