Konami has released the official demo for PES 2018 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Players can download the demo from the relevant digital storefront and get their virtual footie boots on for some 11v11 action. Following on from the online beta a few weeks ago, this demo is offline only and an opportunity to see how far the game has come since last year’s classic PES 2017.

The demo is between 4-5GB depending on the platform, and will give players the option of 11 teams to play as in an exhibition setting.

There are two stadiums to play in: Barcelona’s Camp Nou and Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park, and players will have a selection of licensed European teams to choose from. This includes the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and Liverpool (fresh from hammering Arsenal last weekend). The South American continent is represented by a number of teams to choose from such as Corinthians, Flamengo, Boca Juniors, River Plate, and Colo-Colo. Finally, there are three national teams available for selection: Argentina, Brazil and Germany. Ich liebe Die Mannschaft.

Players will get the opportunity to try and tiki-taka the mickey out of opposing teams with a methodical, precise and mentally debilitating playing style, or they can intimidate teams with the Gegenpress, a relentless style that demands a high-octane attacking impetus, quick passing and energetic players with plenty of stamina to win the game.

PES 2018’s demo is available for download now for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
