In a little under three years’ time we’ll all be able to go to the cinema to see The Minecraft movie, Mojang has announced.
The Minecraft movie will be released on May 24, 2019 and will be available in 3D and IMAX, revealed Mojang COO and movie producer Vu Bui.
“Yes, that might seem like a long time away, but it just so happens to be the right amount of time to make it completely awesome. And we all want an awesome Minecraft movie, right?” said Bui.
“That’s it for now, but as time goes on we’ll share loads more. Loads!”
Those 1059 days will seem like no time at all to all those eight year olds desperate to see the movie. The poor parents.
