Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 remake of MediEvil will be released in 2019.
The news was confirmed in a new trailer for the upcoming platforming title, and it looks pretty much as you'd expect from a modern version of MediEvil. There's comparison shots between the PlayStation original and the remake, so you get a good idea of how the visuals have been spruced up.
Sadly we didn't get a concrete release date, although hopefully Sony will share more information soon. The game is in development at Other Ocean Interactive.
MediEvil was originally released on the PlayStation back in 1998, but it's been years since Sony has done anything with the franchise.
