The Lost Child will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch in the US on June 19 and in Europe on June 22, NiS America has announced.

For those out of the loop, The Lost Child plonks players in the role of Hayato Ibuki, a journalist investigating a number of mysterious homicides in Tokyo, Japan. His journey brings him into contact with a ‘strange girl’ who bestows Hayato with an otherwordly device that allows him to capture mythological creatures. As you do.

Anyway,  not long after this encounter  he’s lobbed into a mysterious world inhabited by demonic beasts and celestial beings, where he’s forced to explore dungeon-like settings known as Layers while attempting to crack the mystery of the device. So, erm, not exactly your standard day at the office, then.
