XSEED Games has announced The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is coming to PC on August 2, and it has a 10% launch discount thrown in to boot. Trails of Cold Steel is an RPG where the player takes part in an political battle  between two growing forces in the Eroborian Empire, and was originally released in 2015 for the PS3 and PS Vita.Trails of Cold Steel comes to PC with visual enhancements and a 50% increase of English spoken dialogue over the original.Â
According to XSEED The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel builds on the foundations of the Trails franchise, improving on the previous entries, while delivering a standalone narrative that fans and newcomers can enjoy. A traditional tactical turn-based RPG, Trails of Cold Steel was well-received by critics and fans on it’s PS3 and PS Vita release.
Trails of Cold Steel sees the player taking on the role of elite military students making their way through school, at a time where there are growing tensions between two forces in the Erobonian Empire. What follows is an epic adventure where players juggle school life, bond with school friends, learn abilities for battle and before being dragged into the battle to restore balance and peace to the empire.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel will be released on August 2 on PC, it was previously released on PS Vita and PS3 in 2015.
