The Last Story for Wii, an action-packed RPG from Hironobu Sakaguchi, will be released in Europe on February 24, 2012.

Players take control of Zael and his band of mercenaries in search of their fortune. Players will explore Lazulis Island and its sprawling medieval capital Lazulis City, while trying to help Zael achieve his ultimate goal of leaving his life as a mercenary behind and becoming a true knight.

In addition to a single-player campaign, The Last Story also boasts online multiplayer options including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Co-Op modes. Battle against or alongside up to five other RPG fans from across Europe using your customised character from the single-player game.

I can’t help but think that The Last Story will struggle to attract much attention when it launches early next year on Wii. If Zelda struggles to make the UK chat Top 10 then what hope does The Last Story have? The majority of RPG fans will probably be too busy playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 to take any notice.
