UPDATE: SCEA has confirmed that The Last of Us: Remastered is heading to PlayStation 4, telling Mashable that it’ll be “sharing more details with you shortly.”

ORIGINAL REPORT: The Last of Us: Remastered has been revealed for PlayStation 4 via an advert on PlayStation Store.

However, the ad appears to have leaked out prematurely, with the link leading to an unlisted page. Could an official announcement be due today?

The advert states that the game will be a Day 1 Digital release, suggesting it’ll also see a physical launch, although further details have yet to be confirmed.

A PS4 version of The Last of Us was first revealed by PlayStation Eurasia software market manager Sercan Sulun, who stated that the the game would “also include the [Left Behind] DLC”.

At the time, Sony told VideoGamer.com that “at no time have we announced that The Last of US is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject.”

Expect an official announcement imminently.
