Sony’s The Last Guardian won’t be playable at the Tokyo Game Show – September 15-19 – and it might not make an appearance at all.
News of the game’s absence comes as Sony unveiled the first and third-party playable titles which will be in its TGS booth.
The Last Guardian’s absence shouldn’t come as too great a surprise given SCE Studios president Shuhei Yoshida said only last month that an appearance at TGS was uncertain.
“I’d say it could be a little bit longer,” said Yoshida when asked if we’d be hearing more about the game at TGS.
The Last Guardian is now scheduled for release in 2012.
